The officers inside the vehicle were taken to the hospital for a broken nose, concussion, and bruising.

Detectives said they recovered four to five pounds of meth, a "trafficking amount" of marijuana, four handguns and "a large sum" of cash from the suspect's home. 

Officers were responding to a 911 call at a home on Lincoln Avenue, in a neighborhood off Poplar Level Road near Interstate 264, just after 10:30 p.m. April 26.

Herbert Lee pleaded guilty Thursday to 20 felony charges in two cases and was sentenced to prison for the shooting at the annual Dirt Bowl.
