The Touring Parade includes almost 20 units to kick off the month-long celebration. The mini parade features loops through Chickasaw Park, Shawnee Park, Waterfront Park and Iroquois Park. It goes from noon to 4 p.m. on April 6.

2022 marks the 67th year for the parade, which is the founding event of the Kentucky Derby Festival. 

The theme will be "A Tribute to the Community."
