Sequoia Porter appears before Jefferson District Judge Jessica Moore on June 29, 2023. Porter was charged with two counts of attempted murder and two counts of first-degree assault in connection with the stabbing of a woman and a 6-year-old on June 28, 2023. She was also accused of trying to escape custody by sliding out of her handcuffs and fleeing he jail as she was being booked.
