Lindsay Allen joined the WDRB News Team in 2009. She and her husband have two children and are proud to call Louisville home.

Lindsay’s work as a reporter and anchor for WDRB has taken her across the country and around the globe. During her time at WDRB she has traveled to Afghanistan with the Kentucky National Guard, reported from the U.S. Supreme Court covering the local couples part of the historic Obergefell v. Hodges decision which legalized gay marriage in the U.S., and has even interviewed Judge Judy on set in Los Angeles. After serving in numerous roles, Lindsay was promoted to WDRB Mornings co-anchor alongside Candyce Clifft in 2024.

Lindsay is from Hagerstown, Maryland. She earned her B.A. in Journalism from Indiana University in Bloomington. Prior to joining WDRB Lindsay worked at WLIO-TV in Lima, Ohio. She started her journalism career at a small cable news station in Shelby, North Carolina.

When she's not covering the news of the day, Lindsay enjoys exploring all that Kentuckiana has to offer with her children. Lindsay enjoys supporting all of Kentuckiana’s sports teams. She spent most of her younger years inside a ballet studio, and her passion for dance and the arts is still very much alive today.
