LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — In his second day on the job as University of Louisville basketball coach, Pat Kelsey didn’t waste much time finding his first transfer portal addition to the roster.
And he didn’t have to look far, either.
Reyne Smith, a 6-2 junior from Ulverstone, Australia who played for Kelsey at College of Charleston, will join him at Louisville, he told On3Sports Saturday.
Smith averaged 12.8 points per game, making 112 three-pointers and shooting 39% from beyond the arc as a junior.
Kelsey also has a visit scheduled from James Madison leading scorer Terrence Edwards, a 6-6 junior who averaged 17.2 points per game for the Dukes. He’s set to visit Louisville this week.
