LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Ja'Hyde Brown, a junior wide receiver at Christian Academy of Louisville and a four-star prospect in the 2027 class, announced his commitment to Louisville on Monday.

Brown had previously committed to Indiana in January before reopening his recruitment three weeks ago. He is rated among the top 50 wide receivers nationally in the 2027 class by 247Sports.

The in-state standout drew interest from Louisville and Kentucky, while also considering Ole Miss and Indiana before ultimately choosing the Cardinals.

Brown is coming off a standout season at CAL, where he helped lead the Centurions to a perfect record and a KHSAA Class 3A state championship. In the title game, he hauled in six receptions for 180 yards and two touchdowns.

He finished the season as Kentucky's leader in both receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.
