LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Racing Louisville FC's longest unbeaten streak in club history ended on Sunday for the first loss of the season.

Racing Louisville lost to Orlando Pride 1-0 at Inter&Co Stadium. Barbra Banda scored the match's only goal in the 17th minute.

"There were moments of absolute brilliance today from the group,” Racing Louisville coach Bev Yanez said. "We continue to show that we are a top-level team, and we believe that. We massively believe that we're a playoff team, and we'll continue to show that we are a playoff team. The effort’s always controllable for me, and I think the group is constantly looking eager, constantly wanting to grow in the right direction. They showcase that every single game."

The visitors created just three shots on goal despite maintaining possession for 53.2% of the match.

It was a rematch of the season-opening draw in Louisville. Orlando stretched its unbeaten streak to eight matches.

Racing Louisville (1-1-5) next hosts Washington Spirit at Lynn Family Stadium on Friday.
