LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A 30-year-old Jeffersonville man was identified Friday as the victim of a fatal shooting May 14 in Louisville's Russell neighborhood.

The Jefferson County Coroner's Office said Quantay Workman died of multiple gunshot wounds on Magazine Street in Louisville.

Officers responded at 7:19 p.m. to the 1000 block of Magazine Street after reports of a shooting in the area, Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Adam Sears said. When officers arrived, they found two men who had been shot.

One victim was taken to UofL Hospital for treatment. According to court documents, the victim was shot in the arm and required surgery.

A second victim, Workman, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two men were charged with murder in connection to the incident. Joshua Langlois, 36, and Leangelo Sullivan, 28, were arrested Wednesday in connection to the shooting. Both men were charged with murder and first degree assault, and Langlois was also charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

Court documents claim witnesses described the suspects to police and detectives recovered surveillance footage from before and after the shooting.

Langlois and Sullivan were identified from the footage, which showed both suspects arriving to a scene in a car that belonged to Sullivan.

Detectives found Langlois at his supervised reentry placement after his release from federal prison, court documents said.

Police said video from the day of the shooting showed both men wearing clothes similar to those the suspects were described as wearing.
