Man dead, another injured after shooting in Louisville's Russell neighborhood

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man was killed and another was injured Thursday night after a shooting in Louisville's Russell neighborhood.

Officers responded to the 1000 block of Magazine Street at 7:19 p.m. on reports of a shooting in the area, Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Adam Sears said.

When officers arrived, they found two men who had been shot.

One victim was taken to UofL Hospital for treatment. Police did not confirm his condition.

The second victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

No suspects have been identified.
