LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Spring football returns to Louisville next week.

Coach Jeff Brohm’s Cardinals will open spring practice on Tuesday, March 17, beginning a 15-practice schedule that will carry the program through its annual spring game in mid-April.

Brohm enters his fourth season at Louisville after guiding the Cardinals to a 9-4 record in 2025, capped by a 27-22 victory over Toledo in the Boca Raton Bowl.

Five practices during the spring will be open to fans, giving the public its first look at the 2026 Cardinals. Those sessions are scheduled for:

• Tuesday, March 17 — 3:45 p.m.
• Wednesday, March 18 — 3:45 p.m.
• Friday, March 27 — 3:45 p.m.
• Saturday, March 28 — 9:45 a.m.
• Friday, April 3 — 3:45 p.m.

Louisville’s annual Spring Game is scheduled for Friday, April 17 at 6 p.m.

Practices may be held at L&N Stadium, the Trager Indoor Practice Facility or the outdoor practice fields at the Howard Schnellenberger Football Complex.

Fans attending open practices must remain in the stands or behind designated ropes and are not permitted to take photos or video.

All practice dates and times — including the spring game — are subject to change because of weather or other circumstances. Updates will be posted on GoCards.com and through Louisville football’s social media accounts.
