LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville Metro Police Department officers carried out a targeted search in the Shively area this week, uncovering a large cache of illegal firearms and THC vape cartridges.

The Second Division Impact Unit executed the search warrant after gathering intelligence in an ongoing investigation tied to firearm and drug trafficking.

Four individuals were arrested — two adults and two juveniles — as authorities continue to investigate. The adults have been identified as 18-year-old Jose Viveros-Hernandez and 18-year-old Ahmed Mohram. The juveniles won't be named because they're underage.

Police recovered:

  • 16 Glock conversion devices
  • 4 firearms, including 3 un‑serialized, 3D‑printed guns
  • 120 THC vape pens
  • 3 3D printers and 3 related computers
  • Additional paraphernalia connected to illegal gun and drug activity

The operation involved a coordinated effort across multiple LMPD teams, including SWAT, Bomb Squad, CID K9, Shively SIU Detectives, Shively Patrol, and LMPD Patrol units.
