LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The bodies of two missing motorists were recovered Tuesday from floodwaters in southern Indiana.
In a news release, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources said officers found and recovered the bodies of 21-year-old Kasee Allman and 35-year-old Jesse Brock, both of Bedford, Indiana, just before noon.
DNR officials said they were found dead in the pickup truck they were last known to be driving. Authorities were able to find them after family reported them missing late Sunday night.
With the help of cellphone technology, sonar, divers and drones, authorities were able to narrow the search to an area near Earl Road and Lawrenceport Road.
These are the second and third bodies recently recovered from southern Indiana floodwaters.
The body of 55-year-old Bradley Deaton, of Seymour, was recovered Sunday afternoon. He died after a boat capsized in floodwaters east of Cortland near County Road 400 East and State Road 258 in Jackson County, Indiana.
