LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame is now accepting nominations for its 2024 class.
The Louisville Sports Commission will accept nominations through March 31. The 2024 Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame inductees and their families will be honored in September at Freedom Hall in Louisville.
The Hall of Fame was founded in 1963 to recognize athletes and sports figures who are Kentucky natives, as well as people who participated in their respective sport or made a significant impact in their sport-related field in Kentucky.
Last year, WDRB's Rick Bozich, Brigid DeVries, Tom Leach, Chris Lofton and William "Bubba" Paris were inducted into the Hall of Fame.
A selection committee made up of sports media throughout Kentucky review the nominations. To learn more about the selection process, click here.
