LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The results are in for WDRB Player of the Week for Week 8 of high school football.

Receiving 88% of the votes, the WDRB Player of the Week is Trinity's Christopher Wilson.

Wilson went the distance Friday night in the final minutes of the game with a 70-yard run to the end zone, leading the Shamrocks over the Ballard Bruins, 20-0. 

This season, Wilson has rushed for 285 yards in eight games.
