LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — University of Louisville football has landed a quarterback out of the transfer portal.
Former Texas Tech quarterback Tyler Shough announced Tuesday on his X account he's transferring to Louisville.Â

Shough started his career at Oregon in 2018 and transferred in 2021 to Texas Tech. Shough will be a seventh-year senior at Louisville.
In 27 career games, Shough has thrown for 4,625 yards and 36 touchdowns. He has also rushed for 714 yards and 10 scores during his career.
Shough has dealt with injuries throughout his collegiate career, playing in just four games for Texas Tech in 2023. Shough played seven games in 2022, throwing for 1,304 yards and seven touchdowns.Â
