LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Celebrating the holidays shouldn't include driving impaired.
In a news release, Louisville's Isaacs & Isaacs Personal Injury Lawyers said it will provide free $20 Uber vouchers for safe rides home on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 2025. The vouchers for Dec. 24 and 25 are available through the firm's "Hammer Hub" app across Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio, while supplies last.
"Nobody wants a ride home to complicate a fun evening,” said Darryl "The Hammer" Isaacs in a statement. "This makes it easy: claim the voucher, enjoy the holiday, and enjoy a safe ride." Isaacs said he has seen first hand how quickly life can change. He was seriously injured in 2015 when a vehicle struck him while he was riding his bicycle.
In November, Isaacs & Isaacs covered more than 500 rides during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend to help keep impaired drivers off the road.
If you plan to be drinking around Christmas, the firm encouraged people to claim the vouchers early to make sure the opportunity isn't wasted.
