LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Louisville men's basketball team showed off its new uniforms for Pat Kelsey's first year as head coach, and the look is a throwback to the mid-2010s.

The Cardinals will keep the dunking Cardinal bird on the shorts, a 1980s throwback that was added to the center court at the KFC Yum! Center ahead of the 2019-20 season.

The biggest change is the "Louisville" front on the jersey tops, which will return to a style for the majority of the 2010s before being switched to a more standard font in 2019, Chris Mack's second season as head coach.

Louisville has only released shots of the white jersey, so any black or red jerseys, as well as alternates, are still a mystery.
