Candyce Clifft honored with 'Best Morning Host' by 'Best of Louisville' Awards

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Each year, thousands of people vote for Louisville Magazine's "Best of Louisville" Awards.

And WDRB is proud to reveal that Candyce Clifft is being honored as the 2016 Best Morning Host! She's been part of WDRB in the Morning for almost 13 years. She loves waking up Louisville viewers with co-anchor Sterling Riggs, meteorologist Jude Redfield, traffic guy Mike Marshall and feature reporter Keith Kaiser.

Louisville Magazine publisher Dan Crutcher says it's their goal to honor the doers and businesses that make our city great. And they are celebrating all of them with a blowout bash on July 7, 2016 at The Kentucky Center.

The Best of Louisville Awards party raises money for the Kentucky-Southeast Indiana Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society, which provides programs and services to 108 counties in Kentucky and Indiana. As a nod to the charity partner's color, guests will walk the "orange" carpet entrance.

Finalists for Best of Louisville awards, determined by the results of Louisville Magazine's annual readers' poll, were announced in early May. Winners are named in the magazine's July issue.

Tickets are $50 and include food and drink tastings, unlimited dancing with DJ Glittertitz in the dance party room plus the chance to mix and mingle with the BEST of our city.

Festivities begin at 6 p.m. and go through 10 p.m. Valet parking is $10 or guests may self-park for $8.
