LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Hen House Café & Provisions is a new brunch destination.

WDRB's Keith Kaiser enjoyed some dishes and got some Thanksgiving food ideas.

Chef David Danielson has reinvented the eatery at the Brownsboro Road Shopping Center.

It officially opened as Hen House on Nov. 11, formerly Anoosh Bistro and ata Restaurant.

The inviting space features New American brunch and lunch dishes using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.

Since Thanksgiving was coming up, Chef David Danielson spent some time showing viewers how to make the holiday meal extra special.

He covered "how to dry brine and spatchcock a turkey" cutting the traditional turkey cook time in half. Plus, "how to set up deep frying a turkey," "how to properly carve a turkey," and the perfect sides.

The hours of operation are 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on weekdays and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on weekends (Saturday & Sunday.)
