Halloween cupcake classes at Oxmoor Center will try for Guiness World Record

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Celebrity Chef Sandy Long and the Halloween Cupcake Decorating Roadshow head to over 50 malls around the country including Oxmoor Center to attempt a Guinness World Record for the largest simultaneous cupcake decorating class in history.

She presents Gone Cupcaking!, a hands-on experience where people participate in a 70-minute cupcake decorating class that teaches the fundamentals of designing gourmet cupcakes.

The goal is to teach more than 10,000 people to decorate Halloween cupcakes.

Designed to be family-oriented, participants can choose from four different sessions as the team of decorators will teach techniques for decorating Halloween-style cupcakes.

On October 31st, the Oxmoor Center sessions will take place at 11:00, 1:00, 3:00 and 5:00, in Center Court, near Bath & Body Works.

Cost to participate in the event is $19.00 per person or $75 for a group of four.

Pre-registration is required.

Participants will get everything they need to decorate including cupcakes, icing, decorating tips and all the sprinkles and toppings their cupcakes can hold.
