LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The Louisville Bats and Slugger Field want you to celebrate the holidays in style this weekend.

On Friday, Dec. 1, the holiday festivities kick off with the start of the 12 days of Batsmas.

Louisville Bats President Greg Galiette stopped by WDRB Mornings Friday to talk about the upcoming holiday events at Slugger Field.

Louisville Bats fans can enjoy two weeks of promotions, giveaways and sales. Each day, there will be special offers for Louisville Bats fans with details of each days' offers on the Louisville Bats social media platforms.

The holiday celebrations continue Saturday, Dec. 2 with a Breakfast with Santa in the Louisville Bats Clubhouse. There are two time slots to choose from - 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Guests will enjoy a special buffet-style breakfast down in the Bats locker-rooms catered by Outback Steakhouse, cookie decorating from Heitzman Traditional Bakery and Deli and ornament crafting. All children will also have a chance to get a free photo with Santa. 

"It's a great opportunity to get your Christmas season started," Galiette said. "Our team store will be open for shopping. We'll also have the opportunity to make Christmas ornaments and decorate Christmas cookies, so it should be a great morning."

Tickets for the Breakfast with Santa are $30 for adults and $28 for children with a limited amount of seating available. Tickets must be purchased in advanced by clicking here. 

Opening Night 2024 is scheduled for Friday, March 29 as the Louisville Bats host the Indianapolis Indians at 7:15 p.m.
