LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Some local women golfers want to invite more to the group.

WDRB's Keith Kaiser joined a few LPGA Amateurs before their special event.

LPGA Amateurs is the recreational amateur arm of the LPGA family, providing organized playing and learning opportunities for adults of all ages and abilities.

They are a welcoming golf community for all women to connect, learn, play, and belong.

The highlights of the benefits include organized golf (leagues, outings, clinics, LPGA Amateurs competitive events and golf travel experiences), social and networking events, golf education, free entrance for a member plus one guest to LPGA Tour events (in the U.S. and Canada), discounts on apparel, equipment, travel, greens fees and more.

LPGA Amateurs Louisville Region Association has 135 members and always looking for ways to help women get started in the sport or find more opportunities to play.
