LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- This time of year, many people start to fade away from their New Year's Fitness Goals.

WDRB's Keith Kaiser found a program to keep seniors motivated and moving.

The Norton Sports Health Performance and Wellness Center has a class called Senior LIFEready to help with the winter blahs and improve senior fitness.

Join a coach-led senior fitness class to focus on increasing range of movement, strength-building and flexibility for ages 65 and older.

Winter is the perfect time for seniors to workout indoors and socialize while keeping fit.

Benefits of Senior LIFEready classes:

  • Improved muscle strength, flexibility, cardiovascular fitness and endurance
  • Better sleep
  • Modifications to exercises to help you progress
  • Adding variety to your workouts
  • Learning form and technique from trained coaches
  • Boosting motivation and making working out more fun
