SHEPHERDSVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Let's get ready to Dirt Track Rumble.

WDRB's Keith Kaiser joins some racers preparing for race day.

It's going to be a night of excitement, racing fun, and great food! Close to 40 cars and drivers will be up for the challenge.

"Race What You Brung," you can put almost any car on the track to go lap for lap with other drivers looking for the same prize. It must be a 2 wheel drive vehicle with very little modifications to make it around the 1/4 mile track.

You may get bumped and pushed and slammed on your way to the finish line.

Can your car stay running and go the distance during the 5 minute races?

Win the giveaway car during the raffle and you are automatically in the final race.

This is a family friendly event with a Kids Zone to entertain the younger ones.

The Dirt Track Rumble is hosted by the North Bullitt Lions Club. The nonprofit group is made up of volunteers who love giving back to the community and have fun along the way.

Admission – $10 per person

Ages 6-12 – $5 each
