Shelby County Summer Classic Horse Show gives equestrians a place to show their stuff

SHELBYVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It’s time to polish your boots and prep your pony! The American saddle bred capital of the world is getting ready for a big week.

Formerly known as the Shelbyville Horse Show, it's four days of competitions and entertainment. Whether you're aiming for ribbons, showing off your favorite mount, or soaking up some equestrian fun, this extravaganza has something for everyone, classes and divisions for all skill levels.

Exhibit Division Examples:

Fine Harness 2 yr. old, Five Gaited Amateur, Roadster Pony Junior, Three Gaited Show Pleasure Adult, Amateur Fine Harness, Three Gaited Junior Exhibitor, Walk/Trot Pleasure 12 & Under, ASB Show Pleasure Driving, Five Gaited Junior Exhibitor, Five Gaited Show Pleasure Adult, Roadster Pony Open and more.
