After a freeze last night from a polar front rolling its way through our area, we now haveĀ anotherĀ freeze warning out for our area tonight. Since temperatures will be so below-normal this afternoon, temperatures overnight with calm wind and partly clear skies can drop far once again. Here's who's included:

Again, if you've already planted or have hanging plants outside, be sure to bring them in again tonight, but do it a little earlier into the night as this goes into effect at 10PM tonight and is valid through 9AM Wednesday morning. Areas that drop to 28 or colder would experience a hard freeze, which is even rougher on sensitive plants.

Here's more from the NWS on the freeze warning:

* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 26 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central Indiana and east central, north

central, northwest, and south central Kentucky.

* WHEN...From 10 PM EDT /9 PM CDT/ this evening to 9 AM EDT /8 AM

CDT/ Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other

sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor

plumbing.
