With cold air continuing to pump into our area tonight, a Cold Weather Advisory has been issued for part of our area starting at 10PM tonight and lasting until 10AM Tuesday morning.

With more arctic air rolling its way on in and skies remaining mostly clear tonight, temperatures will drop quickly and pretty far. Single digit air temperatures are possible for some and wind chill values, especially in the advisory area, ranging from -3 to -6. 

Here's more on the advisory from the NWS:

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 3 to 6 below zero expected.

* WHERE...Portions of Indiana and east central and north central

Kentucky.

* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 10 AM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin

is exposed to these temperatures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a

hat, and gloves.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
