The pollen count is high and will continue to climb until our next rain system arrives. Maple, elm, and juniper are the main pollens right now with numbers in the high territory Saturday that continue climbing Sunday and Monday to very high levels. Those with allergies to tree pollen are likely to notice.
A well-developed low pressure system moves across our region Tuesday bringing rain and storms. That rain will help wash away some of the pollen, so levels should drop a fair bit Tuesday.
