LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville-based healthcare provider filed for bankruptcy protection last week.
Musculoskeletal Associates PLLC filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Kentucky, according to our partners at Louisville Business First.
Chapter 11 bankruptcy allows a business to remain open and operating while reorganizing debts.
LBF reports the filing also lists the wellness practice Fit In Lou. Court records show Musculoskeletal Associates lists its assets at between $1 million and $10 million, and claims against the firm of more than $3.75 million.
The filing comes after two of the healthcare provider's affiliated businesses also filed for bankruptcy this month.Â
A hearing in the case is scheduled for June 30.
