We have a great opportunity to see the Starlink satellites over our area once again tonight. Now that we have sprung forward the sun sets at 7:47 PM and these are expected to become visible over our area starting around 9:10 PM. So while we have a later sunset now, it will still be plenty dark enough to see these!

Because SpaceX doesn't share data like NASA does, these satellites are harder to predict than the International Space Station which similarly flies across the sky. With that in mind, we usually have pretty good luck seeing them the day after and two days after launch, but it's not impossible that they still won't be visible.

The Starlink train is expected to be visible for four minutes appearing low in the northwestern sky, flying overhead at around 57 degrees, then at the same angle in the western part of the sky. The satellites will appear like a string of bright, fast-moving lights all flying together. The sky tonight remains mostly clear, so clouds shouldn't interrupt your view. For the best chance to see the SpaceX Starlink train of satellites fly over, look toward the northwest before 9:10 PM and give your eyes time to adjust to the dimming light.
