According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, one in eight women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
These days Jamie Briglio can get dressed up and curl her hair, but she said the cancer left its mark, after the fight for her life.Â
"I had to keep fighting. I had to be here for my daughter and the baby."
Each survivor has survived ovarian cancer or breast cancer.
Doctors diagnosed her with stage 1 invasive breast cancer in 2023.
She said she's feeling more like herself again, she still doesn't have full range of motion in her arms.Â
