LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A full-service air medical transport service in Kentuckiana will hold a blood drive this week.
Air Methods of Kentucky partnered with the American Red Cross and Kentucky Blood Center to host the annual Battle of the Bases Blood Drive. Air Methods of Kentucky has six base locations around Kentucky and southern Indiana.
The blood drive will kick off at Corydon Baptist Church on March 5 from 1 to 6 p.m. Anyone who donates blood will receive an Air Methods Battle of the Bases swag item.
People can schedule an appointment or walk in to donate.

Donors can donate blood every 56 days or up to six times a year. You need to be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. Click here for a complete list of eligibility requirements.
