LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — It is almost time for a Louisville holiday tradition.
Light Up Louisville will be back on a Saturday this year.
The free, annual tree lighting extravaganza will kick off the Christmas season in the city on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 3-9 p.m.
Local food and craft vendors will be selling holiday goods and treats during The Vendor Village at 6th and Jefferson streets.
The Lots of Lights Parade will line Jefferson Street, aka Santa Claus Lane, with several lit groups singing and dancing in the street.
In addition, The Downtown Holiday Market will take place at 4th and Jefferson streets in the Aegon Plaza from 2-9 p.m.
There will also be live entertainment from two stages: the Main Stage will be in front of Metro Hall on Jefferson Street, and the Jingle Stage will be at Jefferson Square Park.
