LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Summer camps are still a few months away but some children got a sneak peak at some fun Saturday in downtown Louisville.
The Frazier History Museum hosted a free open house so families could learn more about spring and summer camps.
There were games, Legos, and live music.
Families met with camp counselors, took a tour of the museum and saw all it has to offer.
Camps have been happening for more than 20 years.
During spring break, the camps will focus on nature and the outdoors.
"Over the summer, we will have eight weeks," Kent Klarer, Senior Manager of youth programing at Frazier History Museum. "Each week is different. We'll have a week of silver screen heroes where we look at pop culture and film, we'll have a wee of history through the arts, we'll have a week of legends and folklore. There is always something new."
