LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Goodwill Kentucky is hoping to make the season brighter for those in the community.
Saturday, it hosted its Miracle on Hope Street event at the Goodwill West Louisville Opportunity Center.
Families enjoyed a movie, holiday treats, crafts, community resources and bike giveaways.
Santa also made an appearance throughout the day.
"As a resident of west Louisville, I grew up right inside this neighborhood. This is another way for us to welcome again good resources right where we are at 28th and Broadway," Emery Lee, Goodwill regional director, said.
This was the second year for the Miracle on Hope Street event, which helped 350 families last year. This year, they helped more than 500.
