LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A new tourism initiative has launched in six Kentucky cities.
The "Horses, Horsepower and Hollers" tour will be at the tourism offices in Bowling Green, Corbin, Franklin, Georgetown, Harlan and Shelby County.Â
Visitors to each tourism office will get a sense of that city's culture, cuisine and landscapes, showing what makes the bluegrass special. Attractions include the National Corvette Museum, Old Friends Retirement Farm, Bulleit Distilling, Cumberland Falls State Park and many more.
"We are thrilled to launch 'Horses, Horsepower and Hollers' and invite visitors to discover the authentic essence of Kentucky," said Sherry Murphy, executive director of the Bowling Green Area Convention and Visitors Bureau and lead tourism office of Horses, Horsepower and Hollers. "This project is a testament to our shared commitment to showcasing the best of what our state has to offer. We look forward to sharing more exciting announcements about the project this summer."
To give visitors an enhanced experience, a digital pass is available through Bandwango, for all six tour locations. Visitors can check-in and enter a sweepstakes for a grand prize of a one-night stay in each location.Â
