LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky Humane Society is looking for the next class of models for its annual calendar.
The organization's 2026 Pet Calendar Contest is open. Pet parents who want to show off their furry friends can submit a photo for $25, two photos for $40 or three photos for $60.
The cost to submit a photo serves as a donation to KHS, putting your pet in the running to be one of 11 winners that will be "Featured Pet of the Month" in the calendar. There will be 36 runners-up in the contest, KHS said.
Even if your pet isn't chosen as a featured pet, KHS said every submission is guaranteed a spot in the calendar collage.
Donations will also get you a copy of the calendar while supporting the humane society's mission.
Once the calendars are available in mid- to late-November, they will be sold at KHS' Sam Swope Pet TLC and the KHS East Campus, as well as Feeders Pet Supply.
The contest closes Aug. 1.
