LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — It's not officially spring yet, but it sure feels like it at the Louisville Zoo.
The zoo held its Super Spring kickoff Saturday with the help of some superheroes.
Favorite characters from comics, movies, and more met guests as they learned about their favorite animals and how they harness their own superpowers throughout the animal kingdom.
If you missed Saturday's event, there are more chances for meet and greets, including May 17 with appearances by Curious George, Clifford the Big Red Dog and the Bernstein Bears.
Meet and greets are free with Zoo admission.
