LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A museum in downtown Louisville is offering free admission on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day this month.
Muhammad Ali Center will have a full day of programming on Jan. 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Guests have access to all exhibits with the free admission.
The center will have a screening of King's "I Have a Dream" speech at the top of each hour starting at 10 a.m. The noon screening will be followed by Muhammad Ali Center Council of Students panel "Continuing the Dream, Continuing the Legacy." The panel will discuss King's message of equality, justice and peace.
According to a news release, the center is collaborating with the Association for Teaching Black History in Kentucky to offer a free professional development for teachers on Jan. 15. It's a full day workshop with breakout sessions on how to empower educators and bring Black history into their classrooms.
