LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A tip from a local resident helped Charlestown police track down and arrest a suspect in the Jay C store incident.
On Saturday, Oct. 25, Chief Eric Kruse located the suspect in Otisco.
Officer Logan Carter, who had just returned to duty, joined Charlestown officers and the Clark County Sheriff’s Office to make the arrest.
"This case highlights the importance of public tips in helping us locate and apprehend suspects," Charlestown police said on their Facebook page.
Authorities thanked the resident who came forward and encouraged others to do the same.
"If you see something, say something," officials said.
