LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man died after a shooting near a Louisville club late Saturday night.

Matthew Sanders, a spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded to Club Cedar at 11:45 p.m. on a reported shooting.

Police found a man in his 40s in the parking lot with a gunshot wound to the head.

He was taken to UofL Hospital with critical injuries and later died Sunday morning.

On Sunday morning, Louisville Metro ABC issued an emergency suspension order for Club Cedar.
