LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Dinosaurs will soon walk the Earth in southern Indiana.
Move over Jurassic Park. This Saturday, Wilstem Wildlife Park in Paoli is opening its brand new Dinosaur Safari, where the past meets the present in a journey to prehistoric times.
Wilstem already has a drive-thru safari where families can see and feed a variety of animals like zebras, elephants, giraffes and more. Now, families can see lifelike dinosaurs from the Jurassic era. It's an educational experience like never before with 20 different exhibits from several different prehistoric eras.
Some of the dinosaurs include the Dimetrodon, Coelophysis, Stegosaurus, Brachiosaurus and even a Tyrannosaurus Rex. The lifelike creatures even roar and are sure to amaze the whole family. A narrated timeline describes what it was like when real dinosaurs roamed the Earth.
The self-guided safari tour is now two parks for the price of one. Drive Thru tickets now include the Wildlife Safari PLUS the new Dinosaur Safari. Starting Saturday tours will be available daily from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. from until November.
