LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Waverly Hills is known as a place for spooks and scares especially around this time of year, but on Saturday, it was about smiles.

The sanatorium hosted a car show with all the money going to a former employee who is battling cancer.

Dozens of classic and vintage cars lined Waverly Hills parking lot for owners to show off their passion for others enjoyment.

"When you're laying in a hospital bed, it is too late to help out or make changes to the world and the way things are and I thought 'well, if I get back out I am going to help and that is what I have been doing,'" Paul Cox, cancer survivor said.

Some of the cars even added a spooky touch considering they were at Waverly Hills, after all.
