LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — One person was killed and two others were injured in an overnight shooting in Old Louisville.

According to Louisville Metro Police, officers responded to a report of a shooting around 1:15 a.m. Monday in the 100 block of West Oak Street.

When officers arrived, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Police also located a woman who had been shot in the 500 block of West St. Catherine Street. Investigators believe her injuries are connected to the shooting on West Oak Street.

All three victims were taken to UofL Hospital. The two men were listed in critical condition, while the woman is believed to have non-life-threatening injuries. Shortly after arriving the the hospital, one of the men died from their injuries.

LMPD's Homicide Unit is leading the investigation. No suspects have been identified.
