LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man was injured after his house caught on fire Sunday in St. Matthews.
St. Matthews Fire said they were called around 1:25 p.m. to the 3700 block of Nanz Avenue. That's between Macon and Wallace avenues.Â
The homeowner was inside when he smelled smoke and was able to get himself out, the fire department said. He was taken to UofL Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
St. Matthews Fire said crews were able to extinguish the flames quickly.
The fire is under investigation.
