LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man with Louisville ties on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list was arrested Wednesday.

The FBI said Tuesday it was looking for Gregory Henderson Jr. for his alleged involvement in drug-trafficking and animal-fighting conspiracies.

FBI Louisville said Henderson was wanted for "his role as the leader of a violent, neighborhood-based gang" in Indianapolis that is "affiliated with the Gangster Disciples and has significant drug distribution ties to the Sinaloa Cartel."

The agency said Henderson is accused of being involved in the distribution of narcotics, including cocaine, fentanyl and methamphetamine, in the Indianapolis area and surrounding region. He is also accused of engaging in a dogfighting criminal enterprise that "resulted in the severe abuse and death of numerous dogs."

A federal arrest warrant was issued for Henderson on Sept. 17, 2025, on charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and to distribute controlled substances, conspiracy to launder monetary instruments and conspiracy to engage in an animal-fighting venture.

He was arrested in Louin, Mississippi, after three years as a federal fugitive.

Henderson has ties to Louisville, Lexington and Cincinnati and was considered armed and dangerous.

FBI Louisville said Henderson remains in federal custody pending further judicial proceedings. He will be extradited to Indiana to face prosecution in the Southern District of Indiana.
