WDRB's Jude Redfield and Sterling Riggs lead storytime for JCPS students

WDRB's Sterling Riggs and Jude Redfield read for students at Rangeland Elementary School to celebrate National Read Across America Day on March 2, 2020.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- WDRB's Jude Redfield and Sterling Riggs went back to the books Monday morning.

The dynamic duo visited Rangeland Elementary School to help students celebrate National Read Across America Day. Both read from specially selected books to the delight of the children.

Read Across American Day happens every March 2, which also happens to be Dr. Seuss' birthday. The National Education Association event was created in 1998 to encourage children to read more.
