The state's high court agreed Thursday to take up the nine-year case for the second time, potentially providing the last word on the legality of slot-like historical horse racing.
Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear said he was impressed with a plan submitted by the state’s racetracks, which own the historical horse racing facilities, to operate at one-third of normal capacity with additional cleanings and hand sanitizer, among other changes.
