LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A penthouse in a 23-story condominium in downtown Louisville near the waterfront once owned by former Mayor Greg Fischer's parents is up for sale.Â
According to our partners at Louisville Business First, the top two floors at Waterfront Park Place were listed on the market on Oct. 22 for $4,995,000.
The two-floor penthouse at 222 E. Witherspoon St. was completed in 2004. It spans 7,248 square feet with an additional outdoor area around the top floor garden terrace.
The unit features three bedrooms, three full bathrooms and four half bathrooms.
Jonathan Mand with Lenihan Sotheby's International Realty told Business First the 22nd floor serves as the living area, with an elevator that opens directly into a grand foyer with a dramatic staircase.
The condo also has an elevator to access the 23rd floor, which is where the garden terrace sits. It's mostly "outdoor entertaining space with interactive views of the city," Mand told Business First.
The tower was completed in 2004, Business Firs reportedt, citing Jefferson County Property Valuation Administrator records. Fischer's parents brought it in 2006 for $3.2 million.
