LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A sure sign that Kentucky Derby season is almost here was installed Wednesday.
Crews at Churchill Downs changed the historic grandstand signage between the Twin Spires to reflect the 152nd Kentucky Derby.
The annual sign change started in 1939.
The Derby season officially begins with Thunder Over Louisville on Saturday, April 18. This year's 152nd running of the Kentucky Derby is Saturday, May 2.
